4 tbsp olive oil

2 onions, finely hacked

3 carrots, finely hacked

3 celery sticks, finely hacked

4 garlic cloves, crushed

600g sack dried red lentils

2 x 400g containers divide tomatoes

2 tbsp tomato puree

2 tsp each dried oregano and thyme
