Function:
Straightens spine from a position with torso flexed completely forward; helps to arch lower and middle back.

Deltoids.

Function:
Help to raise upper arm bone out to the side; help to raise upper arm bone forward; help to raise upper arm bone toward the rear.

Pectoral.

Function:
Help to move upper arm bones forward and across each other in front of the body.
